Early Monday morning the deplorable news reached Perry that Lincoln Robinette had been instantly killed at the McKaskill Brothers mill twelve miles south of the city where he was superintending the work of felling trees for the mill. The branches of the large tree which was felled struck a small Cypress tree causing it to bend over quickly then fly back striking Mr. Robinette on the back of the neck, killing him almost instantly.
