Rebecca, the youngest of 12 children of James Harvey Robinett, Sr. and Nancy Love (Smith) Robinette spent her childhood and went to schools in Hartville, Missouri. She married Charles L. Spillman on June 8, 1902 at Hartville. They moved to Rico in 1911 and later moved to Telluride. She had lived in Redvale since 1931.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Kenneth of Redvale; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burtis of Redvale and Mrs. Opal Crandall of Telluride; a brother Avi Robinett of Red Deer, Alberta, Candad; and a sister, Mrs. Nancy Murrell of Mountain Grove, Mo.

Funeral services were held at the Norwood Community Church. Burial in Norwood Cemetery. (Information from the Daily Sentinel, Grand Junction, Colorado)
