Elizabeth was born at 5 St Patrick's Close, the eldest child of William MAGUIRE (1782-1846) and Mary VICKERS (1786-1871), who were married in St Patrick's Cathedral in January 1804. Her mother Mary was a niece of John PIGOTT's mother, also Mary VICKERS.
Elizabeth was married at St Peter's Parish Church, Dublin, 18 June 1824, to John PIGOTT (1796-1877).
Elizabeth died at Garville Terrace, Rathgar, aged 50, "... the wife of John PIGOTT, Esq, late of Terenure Lodge, County Dublin" [Dublin Evening Mail, 23 August 1854], of a lingering illness which "... she bore with Christian resignation... an affectionate wife and a kind mother, and regretted by all who knew her" [Saunders's News-letter, 23 August].
She was buried in her father's plot, in the Vicar's Bawn, St Patrick's Cathedral.
John went to America after Elizabeth's death. He died in Kansas, 30 August 1877.
