Betty Jean (Ballew) Kopp "Willie", 87, passed away on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville Indiana. She was born on February 13th,1936 to the late Lloyd Ballew and Ester (Wells) Ballew in Fredericksburg, Indiana.
Betty worked for over 23 years as a Dietary Aide at the Clark Memorial Hospital and was part of a Bunco Group for almost 40 years. Before working at Clark Memorial (County) Hospital Betty worked for several years at Silvercrest Hospital in New Albany.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by; sisters, Pearl Byrne, Barbara Ambers, and Reba Lyninger; and brothers, J.C. Ballew and Orville Ballew.
Left to cherish her memory; the love of her life, her ever doting husband of 68 blessed years, Donald Kopp; sons, Richard Kopp (Janet), Michael Kopp (Terri), Timothy Kopp (Diane), Andy Kopp (Christine); daughter, Peggy Jean Blanken; brothers, Rick Ballew, Chet Ballew, and Ronnie Ballew; 10 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14th from 3PM – 7PM. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 12PM with burial to follow at Horner Chapel Church Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Indiana.
