Reba C. (Ballew) Lyninger, 64, died Thursday, November 25 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. She was a native and former resident of New Albany and was an employee of General Electric in Louisville. God watched Reba while she was here on earth. God saw how she cared and nurtured everyone around her. God saw how much love she gave and how much she cared for all of those around her. How she sacrificed things for herself so she could give to others. God smiled as he watched because he knew that one day he would be calling her home and make her his #1 angel, just as she was ours while she was here with us.

Daughter: Melissa Cain Central, IN

Brothers: Ricky Ballew Denali Park, AK Chester N. Ballew New Albany, IN Ronald Ballew Central, IN

Sisters: Pearl Byrne New Albany, IN Betty Kopp Clarksville, IN Barbara Ambers Fredericksburg, IN

9 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her son Charles Fredrick Lyninger Jr.

Visitation will be from 12– 8:00 PM Sunday and after 9 AM Monday at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, (1119 E. Market St, New Albany) The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at the Market St. Chapel with burial in Horner's Chapel Cemetery near Palmyra, IN.

Expressions of sympathy to: The American Cancer Society or Special Olympics.
