Judy Ann Burgin (Deyton) went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sept. 6th, 2020. She passed away suddenly at "Kootenai Medical Center" in Coeur D'Alene, ID.

Judy was born on July 26th, 1951 to Herman Deyton and Zelda Deyton (Griffith) in Burnsville, NC. She married her husband of 50 years, Dennis Burgin, in 1970 and they had three children: Christopher, Ginny and Mitzi.

In North Carolina, she worked as a school bus driver and substitute teacher for many years with the "Yancey County School District". She also became a trained paramedic and worked with Hospice.

She and her family moved to Post Falls, ID in 1995. Judy worked as an in-home health provider for "Alpha Health Services" in Post Falls, ID for six years. In 2000, Judy and her husband were owner/operators of their own business, "Burgin Trucking", in which they operated for twelve years.

Above all, Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a pure heart, always compassionate for those in need, regardless if they were family. Her love for animals was unmatched; always providing care and a safe place for all of God's creatures. She had a thumb that was greener than the rest, able to make any plant grow and thrive. Judy would spend countless hours tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. True to her southern roots, she was an amazing cook and baker, known for making the world's best buttermilk biscuits.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ginny Marie Burgin, parents Herman and Zelda Deyton and her brother, Gerald Deyton.

Judy touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.

Due to COVID-19, Judy's family will hold a memorial service at a future date.
