Joseph Sgro, of 608 N. Ninth St., died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1988, at St. John's Hospital, age 74.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; four daughters, Mrs. J. Richard (Mary Frances) Stone, Judy and Jean Sgro, all of Springfield; and Mrs. Michael (Paula) Josvanger, of Evanston; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lena Zito, of Springfield; two brothers, Anthony and Peter, both of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Remains were at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home.
Services were at SS. Peter and Paul Church.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
