Died at 2 Barnton Terrace, Edinburgh, on the 23rd inst, the Rev Colin Sinclair, Senior Minister of the United Free Church, Invergordon, aged 76. Funeral at Kirkton, Melvich, Tomorrow (Saturday) at One o'clock. Friends please accept this (the only) invitation.

Had gone to Edinburgh for meetings of the General Assembly.

Life and Ministry
In the Free Church, he served in St. Columba's, Spring Gardens, Aberdeen; and Invergordon, Ross and Cromarty. This ministry was continued in the United Free Church (Fasti of the United Free Church (FUFC), p.483, where a short biography is given). He retired in 1900 and died in 1905.
Family
He had a sister Barbara Sinclair. She probably married John MacDonald, a Free Church minister. Another sister Mary Innes Sinclair married Thomas Fraser, a Free Church minister. His daughter Jane Sinclair married Alexander Miller.
His wife Catherine Finlayson was the daughter of Robert Finlayson, a Free Church minister.
His daughter Lillias Finlayson Sinclair married successively John Falconer and William MacDonald, both Free Church ministers.
