Age 76, of Huntingdon, PA, on July 7, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 14, 1947, daughter of the late Dr. George H. Benz and Mary Kreh Benz. Beloved wife for 37 years of John R. Biddle. Step-mother of Lisa Dibble (Ed) and step-grandmother of Cameron Dibble. Sister of Joseph Benz (Heidi), Dr. Henry Benz (Carol), William Benz (Sharon), Brenda Benz (Alan Daniels), James Benz (Susan), Dr. Thomas Benz (Renee), and the late Dr. George H. Benz, Jr. (Joanne) and Edward Benz. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews,great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by great niece, Helene Brandy.
Friends received Monday 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Sts. Martha and Mary Parish, St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Trudy was a graduate of Juniata College and worked for many years as a computer programmer with Westinghouse, Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin and Areva, now Framotome in Lynchburg, VA. She was active with the American Business Women's Association, ABWA, and was named Woman of the Year in 2002.
