ABELL SHEPHERD, 94, died August 17, 2014. Visitation will be held Friday from 3-6 p.m. at E.H. Ford Mortuary and Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial in New Park Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Ora Shepherd, Jearldine Shepherd, Marcella Shepherd, and Elizabeth (Burney) Moore; five sons, John Shepherd, Freddie Shepherd, Larry Shepherd, Kenneth Shepherd and Terry Shepherd; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
