Info found in "Massachusetts, U.S., Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988" and various legal documents involving his estate. Abraham died intestate, valued at nearly £2,000 in Personal Property and Homestead alone. The children listed in the court papers are Abraham (oldest son and heir), David, Edmund, Susanna, and Elizabeth.

When Abraham's father, Samuel, died in 1762, his Will stated that his estate would be split three ways: one part to son Jonathan, one part to son Benjamin, and one part to be split among his late son Abraham's children.

Abraham's parents, Samuel Foster and Sarah Roberts, were married on 13 Oct 1701 (town records).
