Sybil Faye Moss, 77, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Bishop Chapel of Memories with Pastor Todd Turner officiating.
Sybil was born on May 24, 1946 in Indianola, Oklahoma to Leslie Boatner and Rubylee (Case) Boatner. She married Donald Weddle in 1960, with 4 sons being born to this union. She married Bill L. Moss in 1981, and 1 daughter was born to this union.
Sybil worked at the McAlester Regional Health Center as a Nurse's Aide and also as an Accounting Clerk until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her first husband: Donald Weddle; her second husband: Bill L. Moss; her parents: Leslie and Rubylee (Case) Boatner; and siblings: Charles Boatner, Brenda Durham, Neda Pearson, Linda Dunfee, Mary Cole, Eva Harvey, Chester Boatner, Larry Boatner, and David Boatner.
Sybil is survived by her four sons: Darrin Weddle and wife, Patti of McAlester, Donnie Weddle and wife, Michelle of Broken Arrow, Daniel Weddle and wife, Kim of McAlester, and David Weddle and wife, Jana of McAlester; her daughter: Elisia Peasha and husband, Seth of McAlester; her grandchildren: Devin, Josh, Lexie, Denton, Derrick, Jessica, Sara, Alivia, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Bailey, Dalton, Connor, Erin, Ace, Christopher, Ryan, and Jasmine; her great grandchildren; Dexter, Dean, Ivan, Daxon, Foster, and Caris; her great-great grandchildren: Michael, and Delaney; her brother: Dean Boatner and wife, Betty of McAlester; her sister-in-law: Debra Boatner of McAlester; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
