Born in Amador County, CA to Mary Jones and Dwight Crandall. Raised in Healdsburg, CA. She bore her only child out of wedlock but did eventually marry John J. Ferris in 1896. Not sure of her death location but have confirmed her burial in the same plot as her mother and half-brother, William Whitlock, in Oak Mound Cemetery. After her death, her son, Charles Perry, was raised by his grandmother in Healdsburg and many generations still live in the area.
