Adolfe Pion was baptized 20 Aug 1851 and was born the same day; both at St-Charles-sur-Richelieu, son of Antoine Pion, farmer, of St-Charles and Natalie Tétrau. His godparents were Adolfe Hébert and Sara Tétrau, of this parish.

Adolphe Pion and Eugénie Neveu married 22 Feb 1881 at St-Didace. The groom was identified as a "boulanger," resident of West Warran, major (i.e. 21 yrs or older) and the son of Antoine Pion, farmer, and Nathalie Thétreault of the parish of St-Hilaire. The bride was also identified as a major and the daughter of Félise Neveu, farmer, and Léocadie Robert, of St-Didace. Félix Neveu (bride's father), Hortense Jacques, Henriette Neveu and Hermine Neveu attended the wedding.

The groom was 53 yrs old, it was his 2nd marriage (he was a widower), he resided in Chicopee, was a liquor dealer, born in Canada and his parents were Antoine and Anathalie Tetreault. The bride was 45 yrs old, it was her 2nd marriage (she was a widow), resided in Chicopee, at home, was born in Canada and her parents were Francois Dion and Onesime Bedard.

He was born on 14 Aug 1852 at St-Hilaire, Canada [CORRECTION: He was actually born 20 Aug 1851 at St-Charles-sur-Richelieu, St- Hyacinthe County, Québec]. He was the widower of Eugenia Neveu and Rosalie Dion, who died August, 1931. Alfred of Springfield, Francis X. of Chicopee, Mrs. Julia Momnie of Chicopee Falls are his surviving children. He was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee.
