Dolores Edith (nee MacLachlan) Techner, 91, lifetime resident of Phila., PA, died July 25, 2023 at Jefferson Health Northeast Torresdale Hospital. A graduate of Simon Gratz High, she attended Temple University where she majored in pre-law and journalism. She also studied literature and French. Dolores worked as an executive secretary for the City of Philadelphia including Central Personnel, the Controller's Office and the Planning Commission where she retired after 20 years. For the past 20 years she was a resident at River's Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center where she led Bible study and was president of the resident council.

An avid movie buff, she enjoyed watching classic films. She loved reading, listening to music, and traveling. The beloved wife of the late Joseph Techner. Survivors: include her sons, Drew Techner (Carin) and Marc Techner (Norma Ojeda); grandchildren José-Marc Techner, Joseph Techner, Sarah Techner and MaryBeth Techner; and great-grandchild Luciano Cruz-Lyles; sister Florence Miller; brother Bill MacLachlan.

Her funeral will be Monday, July 31, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery. Services led by Walter Zygarewicz, Lehigh Baptist Church.
