A native of Bolivia, Nayr grew up in La Paz and later moved to Cochabamba where she attended San Simon University, graduated with a master degree in Architecture and worked for the Cochabamba Major's Office. Later she joined a private practice where she worked on the design of the gardens surrounding the Cristo de la Concordia statue in San Pedro Hill, in Cochabamba. In 1996 Nayr moved to the United States and worked for the Fairfax Public Schools assisting special kids.
A celebration of Nayr's life will be held at Christ the Redeemer Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Hwy, Sterling, VA 20164. On Thursday, August 22 between 5 pm and 8 pm and August 23 between 10 am and 12 pm (viewings) followed by a prayer service at 12 pm and immediately followed by the burial at Chestnut cemetery in Herndon, VA. Followed by a memorial gathering at 1652 La Salle Av. McLean VA 22102
Nayr's passion was design and architecture as well as helping others in need around her.
She will be forever remembered for her loving and kind character, her beautiful and unforgettable smile, her thoughtfulness towards everyone around her, her hard-working nature, and her playfulness and lighthearted ways.
