Donnie Neil DeWitt, 87, of Twelve Mile, IN, passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2023 in his residence.

Born on July 14, 1936 in Logansport, IN, he was a son of the late Elbert Neil and Ethel (Nice) DeWitt.

On September 21, 1955 in Twelve Mile, IN, Donnie married Caroline Rance, who preceded him in death on May 31, 1997.

Donnie formerly worked as a carpenter for Ray Hinkle Construction and was a former member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church near Twelve Mile.

Survivors include one daughter; one son; four granddaughters; one grandson; ten great-grandchildren; one brother; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. Donnie was preceded in death by three brothers - Gene DeWitt, Darrell K. DeWitt and James L. DeWitt; and one sister, Judy A. DeWitt.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday August 4, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport, IN.
