A Chapel Service with full military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves will be held today, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane, for Albert N. Bache. Known as "Gunny" to family and close friends, Albert retired a Gunnery Sgt. from the U.S. Marine Corps after 30 years. Albert was also a veteran of WWII in the South Pacific, Korea and Vietnam. Albert's favorite hobbies were fishing with his brothers in Michigan, and bowling with his friends in Garden Grove. You could always count on Albert to support his family. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; and survived by his children, Judi Reed, John Bryant, Joanne Spangle and Thomas Morales; grandchildren, Steven Roberts, John David Reed, Sherry LaBate, Sara Spangle, Amanda Massey and husband, Darin, and James Morales; 12 great- grandchildren including Steven Spangle and Riley Massey; one sister, Norma Holmes; two brothers, Robert Bache, and Dale Bache.
