Park Joon-Woo (박준우) , 32, was one of six firefighters that were killed in an arson that resulted in a building collapse after hearing that the homeowner's son was still in the building. It turned out that the homeowner's son was at an uncle's house during the fire and was the arsonist.

He was scheduled to marry his fiancée in a week. Weeping, the fiancée, Chang Mi-Kyung, showed reporters the cell phone message she had received from Mr. Park the night before the fire. It read: "I'll always care for you."
