Barbara Ann Martin, of Many, LA, passed away on August 5, 2023, in Shreveport at the age of 91. She was born on May 27, 1932, in Many, LA, to the late Adolphus and Minnie Greening.

Barbara was a loving and kind person who adored her family more than anything. Her mind was sharp, and her memory was vivid. She would often share cherished family memories, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Barbara had a special way of making everyone feel loved and cared for, and her warm spirit will be deeply missed.

Barbara was a devoted stay-at-home mom, dedicating her life to raising her children and creating a loving home for her family. She poured her heart and soul into her role as a mother, and her children, Albert Victor Martin Jr (Vic) and his wife Sherry, DeLisa (Lisa) Sterba and her husband Donny, Marlan Martin and his wife Jill, and Daniel Martin (Danny), will forever cherish the love and guidance she provided.

In addition to her children, Barbara is survived by her brother Ralph Greening and his wife Beth, ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert V Martin Sr, and nine brothers and two sisters.

Barbara attended Mooringsport High School, where she laid the foundation for a lifetime of cherished memories and lasting friendships.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA. Family and friends are invited to join together to honor and remember Barbara's remarkable life.
