Mrs. John Beck, a Kalamazoo pioneer, died Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at her home in this city. Her age was 84 years. She leaves one son, John, and four daughters—Mrs. E. L. Landon and Mrs. William Nye of this city, Mrs. Maggie Hysen of Marshall and Mrs. Geiser of Lawton. Mrs. Beck came from Germany to Kalamazoo forty-two years ago and has lived hero ever since.
