I am still working on adding pictures to crown hill cemetery but started a new project I have added the veteran memorial as a cemetery on find a grave it is listed as (Wash. Co. Veterans Memorial) adding names and the face that the person is on as picture for that person if it is a family member will be glad to Trans. it to you or you can send me the date of birth & death will add that to the Memorial.

Richard Edward Dixon, age 73 of Salem, Indiana passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:41 am, in his residence.
Born September 20, 1949 in Jamestown, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Reynolds Dixon and Ada L. (Stephens) Dixon.
Life resident of Washington County and on 12/09/1977 he married Terry D. (Costin) Dixon.
He was retired from The Salem Fire Department after 20+ years and was a volunteer before joining the Department full time. He also drove for the Amish community in retirement.
Survivors include:
Wife: Terry D. (Costin) Dixon
Daughter; Tabitha Wooten of Crothersville, Indiana
Step-Daughter; Ginger Butler of Salem, Indiana;
Step-Daughter; Kerri (Chuck) Williams of Salem, Indiana
Step-son; Duane K. (Lana) Hamilton, of Salem , Indiana
Brother: Homer Dixon of Louisville, Kentucky.
3 granddaughters: Paige Devliegher (Alex), Natasha Butler, Kelli Longwell
3 grandsons: Nathan Williams (Ashley), Dylan Williams, Blake Wright
great grandchildren: Easton and Cole Williams, Jayce Longwell and Jarvis Motley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Chester Dixon, and a step-grandson Bailey Layne Hamilton.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Matt Gorman officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday and 9 to 11 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
