Former Anchorage resident Phillip K. Dunn, 66, died July 24, 1996, of cancer in Vancouver, Wash. Graveside services were at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver.
Mr. Dunn was born July 19, 1930, in Douglas, Wyo., where he was raised and educated. He moved to Anchorage in 1964, working as a superintendent for John Wayne Construction Co. He retired in 1986, and was living in Yuma, Ariz., until his death. He enjoyed the outdoors, his work, reading, traveling and warm weather.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife, Ann of Yuma; daughters, Lynn Marie Aro of Palmer and Stacey Lea Sargent of Eagle River; sisters, Helen Hernandez of Vancouver, Wash., and Dona Lea Dawes of Riverton, Wyo.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie. Arrangements were made by Davies Cremation and Burial Services of Ridgefield, Wash.
