Funeral services were held for Mrs. Olive Meyers Brewster, Woods Mills, last Wednesday afternoon, 2pm, from her home with Rev. Howard Woodman officiating. Burial was made in Gouverneur. Mrs. Brewster died in West Carthage Community hospital where she had been a patient since June 15th.
Mrs. Brewster was born Feb 28, 1896 in Antwerp, a daughter of William and Jennie Countryman Meyers. On November 19, 1915 she married Ivan Fairbanks, who died July 12, 1930. She and Mr. Brewster were married October 17, 1939. She spent all her life in the vicinity of Antwerp and Woods Mills.
Surviving besides her husband and her mother, Mrs. Jennie Meyers, Philadelphia; a daughter Miss Clifford Joyce, Watertown and Mrs. Walter Fleming, Philadelphia and two brothers, Orville Meyers, Dexter and Roy Meyers, Copenhagen.
