She was a member of the University Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling; she was a dyed in the wool Southern Gospel Music fan. So big a fan that she and Kathy went to Tennessee for the big reunion of Southern Gospel Singers. They knew her by name and she knew them as well. She lived for her family they were her life. She was always there to help her children in whatever way needed. One of her favorite times was in July 2006 when ALL of her family met at Colorado City Lake and spent a weekend together. Watching her family laughing and loving our time together was what she loved.
She is survived by two sister-in-laws Telova Carman of Palastene, TX. And Judy Carman of Odessa, TX, two daughters, Alma Kitchens and husband Don and Kathy Smith all of Odessa, two sons, Don Collier of Denver City and Fred Collier and wife Paula of Abilene. Six grandchildren, Ray Collier and wife Michelle of Floydada, TX., Janice Nunez and husband Mark of Anson, TX, survive her. Angel Maxwell and husband Cody of Denver City, TX, Holly Evans and husband Mike of Midland, TX. Rhiannon and husband Chad Jones and Jack-Gregory Smith all of Odessa. She is survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, Dakota, Elizabeth, Sierra and Jacob Collier, Joseph and Mikayla Diaz, Ashlyn Nunez, Luke, Mallory, Tate and Jaxon Maxwell, Ariel and Preston Evans, Triston and Kitty Jones and Ava Smith. As well as many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all.
