Corfu, June 27- The funeral of John Lincoln, former post master of this village and ex-supervisor of Pembroke, who died suddenly on Thursday night, [June 22, 1905] aged 75 years, was held from the family residence at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Harry Wright, pastor of the Universalist church, presided and the bearers were Ira Nye, Charles E. McDonald, Fred A. Gowin, Henry Phelps and Nelson A. Brown of Corfu and James McManmis of East Pembroke. Out of town people who attended the services were Mrs. E (sorry can't read) Lincoln, Mrs. Edgar Lincoln and Mrs. Sarah Lincoln of Plano, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Allen of Grand Valley, Pa., Dester Colby of Belleview, Mich., Mrs. Kalidrich and Mrs. Perry F. Long of Buffalo, Mrs. Thomas McAcherne of Rochester and Mr. and Mrs. Grove Drashy of Pavillion.
