He was best known to television viewers as both Richie Novak on the daytime soap opera "All My Children" from 2007 to 2008 and Billy Abbott on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 2008 to 2014. After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, he went to Los Angeles and worked in commercials before turning to acting. In 2006, he made his acting debut on the television series "CSI: NY." Besides "All My Children" and "The Young and the Restless," he went on to appear in such television series as "Ringer," "Ray Donovan," "General Hospital," "Suits," and "Truth Be Told." In 2009, he made his film debut in "Remembering Nigel." His later film credits would include such productions as "American Sniper" and "Bad Blood." His work was honored by various award nominations and three Daytime Emmys.
