He was married to Sarah "Sallie" Turner (1890-1960) on May 8, 1910 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Joseph Turner.
Working at Pen Dixie Cement Company and living in Richard City, Marion County, Tennessee, Isaac was 55 years old and married when he died of tuberculosis on February 4, 1934. Burial was in the colored cemetery in Decherd.
