Obituary:
Our sweet Lesa Parry Candalot Argyle, 62, passed away on the morning of July 17, 2023 surrounded by her family due to complications resulting from a severe automobile accident three and a half years prior. She was born in Murray, Utah to Susan Petersen and Benjamin Blaine Parry on July 3, 1961.
She fell in love with her sweetheart, Kent Argyle in the 9th grade. They dated throughout high school and were married on August 6, 1981. They would have celebrated their 42nd-wedding anniversary next month. Following her automobile accident, Kent became her primary caretaker and showed each and every day his true love for Lesa until the very end.
Lesa was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She is the loving and devoted mom to Brittney (Stephen) Johnson, Cody, Dusty (Jordan) and Austin. She especially loved her role as a grandma. She was always present and never missed one of her grandkid's events. She is the adored grandma of Jentz, Brielle, Azlyn, Blakely, Haven and Indie. All of them she touched deeply. She loved having them over for sleepovers. Some of her grandkid's sweetest memories are watching movies together, playing board games, baking cookies, making crafts, helping in the garden, and going for walks to the park. She enjoyed reading books with them, making baby blankets, and baking fun birthday cakes for each of them.
Lesa was everyone's go to person and right-hand woman. She was resilient, dependable and everything she did, she did to the fullest. She exemplified the value of hard work, persistence, and honesty. Lesa was a selfless and caring person who always prioritized others in her life. Her acts of service and kindness touched the lives of many. She was the family historian and spent countless hours on family genealogy. When her kids got older, she obtained her real estate license and loved meeting and helping old and new friends along the way.
She cherished creating memories with her family by living in the present moment and enjoying life. Having her family all together was her greatest joy. She loved spending time at the family cabin, taking yearly trips to Lake Powell, going for Harley motorcycle rides, and traveling through the mountains with their motorhome. She was the staple of our family traditions, holiday parties and Sunday dinners. Her commitment to her faith in Jesus Christ was a guiding light throughout her life.
Preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Blaine Parry, stepfather, Gene Candalot, father-in-law, Gerald Argyle, and granddaughter Addison Johnson.
She will be missed, and our grief is eased by the knowledge that we will see her again without mortal ailments. As she would always say to her grandkids, "I love you to the moon and back" and we sure do too! XOXO
A viewing will be held Tuesday July 25th from 6-8 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley funeral home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah, and Wednesday July 26th from 10:00- 10:45 am at the LDS chapel 15429 Iron Horse Blvd in Bluffdale, Utah followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
