PERRY TWP WOMAN PASSES ON SUNDAY
Mrs. Jacob Gross Dies at Her Country Home. Life-Long County Resident
Death claimed a well known woman of the Perry township community Sunday morning when Mrs. Jacob Gross passed away at her country home, six miles east of Sidney. Her death occurred at nine-thirty o'clock and followed an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Gross was in her fifty-eighth year of life and was a life long resident of Shelby county. Her maiden name was Miss Pearl Young, daughter of the late W. R. and Laura Young.
Surviving with her husband are one son and daughter, Wallace Gross, of Sidney, and Mrs. Roy Ammon of Pemberton. One brother, Jesse Young, Sidney and eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral rites will be conducted from the home at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Furrow of the Baptist church of Urbana. Burial will be made at Pearl cemetery, Swanders.
