Darcy Lynn Kells, 72, died October 11, 2023 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City. He was born on March 22, 1951 at Garden City, the son of Russell and Rose Marie (Snavely) Kells.

Darcy attended grade school in a one room school house in North West Haskell County. He then attended Sublette High School followed by Garden City Junior College. He married in 1971. Darcy was a farmer and rancher all of his life; raising his family and farming the century old family farm in Haskell County. Darcy was involved in missionary work through Bible Christian Church and volunteered in several overseas projects.

Darcy was a God loving man, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was an active member of the Bible Christian Church and always offered a kind hand to anyone who needed his help. Darcy will be missed but we know he is in Heaven reaping his reward.

He is survived by his wife; sons, grandchildren, great grandson, brother, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Marie Kells and a sister, Karolyn Kells.

Funeral service will be held at Bible Christian Church in Garden City on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Johnson presiding. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
