Sherry was born in Blytheville to Johnny and Wanda Burress Wisdom. Sherry touched many lives through her long career as a nurse in the medical profession, as well as her work as a published author. She was known for her caring, generous nature and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Tornatore; step-son, Pete Tornatore; niece, Niki Nichols; and nephew, Tyler Gray.
Sherry is survived by her brother, Charles Wisdom and his wife Carol of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sisters, Debbie Pruitt of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Audrey Saliba and her husband Jack of Springfield, Missouri; and granddaughter, Amelia.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery.
