Hugh James Donahue, age 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at his home in St. Joseph. He was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Plattsburg, MO, he lived most of his life in St. Joseph, MO.
Mr. Donahue was a truck driver.
On Aug. 11, 1946, he married Mary McFee. They celebrated 56 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Donahue and Hazel (Morgan) Clayton.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Donahue, St. Joseph, MO; two sons, Dennis Donahue, St. Joseph, MO; Steve Donahue, St. Joseph, MO; two daughters, Linda Caw, St. Joseph, MO; Mary Harless, St. Joseph, MO; sister, Bernice Mehaffie, Overland Park, KS; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
