Actor. Best known as the colossal bailiff, Aristotle Nostradamus "Bull" Shannon on the comedy series, "Night Court," he attended the University of California, Berkeley before pursuing a career in acting. His first credit came in 1977 when he portrayed the Mormon leader, Brigham Young in the American biopic, "Brigham." Due to 6'8" stature and powerful bass voice, Moll was type cast in roles portraying imposing figures such as that of the Abominable Snowman in the 1981 comedy, "Caveman." From 1984 to 1992, he portrayed his most recognizable character, the child like court bailiff, "Bull" on the NBC sitcom "Night Court," opposite co-stars Harry Anderson, John Larroquette, Markie Post, Charles Robinson, and Marsha Warfield. Other television series on which he appeared included "Welcome Back, Kotter," The Rockford Files," "Happy Days," "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century," "Laverne and Shirley," and "Mork and Mindy." During this same period he was cast in a number of films including 1986's "House" in which he brought to life the vengeful revenant, Big Ben. The film earned Moll a Saturn Award nomination for best supporting actor. In addition to his big screen and television roles, Moll lent his voice to a number of media productions. His growling vocals could be heard on a number of animated television series such as "Freakazoid!," "Spiderman," "The Incredible Hulk," and most notably, "Batman: The Animated Series." On the later syndication he provided the voice for Gotham City's fallen D.A. Harvey Dent and his terrifying persona Two-Face. Moll reprised the roles in two subsequent series, "The New Batman Adventures," and 2010's "Batman: The Brave and the Bold."
