William Augustus Atlee, s/o William & Jane (Alcock) Atlee, was married to Esther Bowes (Sayre) Atlee on September 1,1763. They were the parents of 11 children. Following civilian service in Lancaster during the Revolutionary War, William went on to become a lawyer, Chief Burgess of Lancaster, Associate Justice of the PA Supreme Court, and President Judge of the First Judicial District of PA.
