SHAW — Emma Payne Atkinson, 82 retired teacher and librarian for Shaw Public Schools, died Sunday at King's Daughters Nursing Home in Greenville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shaw Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Shaw Cemetery. Fletcher-Nowell Funeral Home in Cleveland has charge. Mrs. Atkinson, the widow of William Atkinson, leaves two sons, William A. Atkinson of Shaw and Arthur L. Atkinson of Louisville, Ky., and a grandchild.
