Ann Brewer, 74 of Laurel Lake, WV, departed this life on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Tug Valley ARH Hospital.

She was born April 1, 1944 in Lenore, WV the daughter of the late Woodrow and Victoria Dillon.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Brewer; brother, Tom Dillon; and a special cousin, James Moore.

Little Ann loved to walk and visit with family and friends. She loved to fuss and argue with anyone who would listen. Little Ann looked up to her special cousin, James Moore and the way he watched out for her, She made family from people who loved her unconditionally.

Those left to cherish her memory include sisters, Tennessee Moore and Birdie Newsome; the family of James and Tennessee Moore along with the family of Bill and Birdie Newsome; including, Lisa (Wayne) McDonald, Zach (Bev) McDonald, Tony McDonald, Ladina (Chris) Fields,Laurie ( Rondale) Adams,James (Luke) Moore, Patty (Josh) Vance, Acie Newsome, Billie Newsome, a buttload of grandkids, and the friends she made up Gilman Drive, Laurel Lake, Tom Branch, and Lenore throughout the years that loved and took care of her when she needed it.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Trinity of Mingo staff for all their love and care they gave Ann in the last few years.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Mount Hope Freewill Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Saturday, November, 11, 2023 at Mount Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Hobert Hamilton and Albert Cable officiating. Burial will follow at the Preece Cemetery in Delbarton, WV
