Nancy Casky Shasteen married Robert Shasteen 7 February 1804 in Rockbridge Co., VA. Her father was Archibald Casky, deceased at the time of their wedding. They left Amherst and Rockbridge Counties VA sometime after 1810 and spent a couple years in Gallia County OH before settling in Yellowbud, Ross Co., OH shortly before the 1820 census. Robert apparently passed away circa 1827-1828 as their last known child was born in 1824. His burial site is not known at this time, but may be the Springbank Cemetery in Yellowbud, Ross Co., OH where many of his descendants are buried.
