Stanley Hale and Family resided in North Mpls MN many years. Engwald Wiggins
was a Switchman with the Great Northern Railroad 43 yrs.

(1847-1880). By 1880, Sophia's Father was Sited on a Nicollet Co. MN Census as Widowed with abt 7 minor children sited, including a very young child. Sophia's Widowed Father Remarried to Sophia's Mother in 1893 who was also a Widowed
Parent with Children. Margaret Miller was first Married in 1876 to Phillip Epper
(1847 - 1891). Phillip Epper Passed away in 1891. Valentine and Margaret Karpen
had a very large Blended Family. ( Many Karpen & Epper Family Children)
Sophia Karpen was Born in the second Marriage Union. She had many Siblings.
Sophia 's Mother was Margaret Miller Epper Karpen. ( Second Spouse of
Widowed Valentina Karpen) He was also Sophia's Mother Margaret's Second Spouse.

Widowed, age 64 resided with their Family. Vera Dorn age 12 yrs and Ancieta Dorn, age 10 yrs, both sited as Nieces also resided with their Family in 1920. Sophia Hale
was sited as a Nurse in Private Practice on this Census .
Vera Dorn & Annacleta Dorn were the Daughters of Helen "Lena" Magdelena Eppers Dorn (1885-1919) and John Peter Dorn (1880-1968) It appears they stayed with
Sophia Hale and her Mother after their Mother Died in 1919 in Fort Dodge Iowa.
Iowa Death records site Lena Eppers Dorn is buried in New Ulm MN but don't specify Cemetery name. Their Father Peter "Jack" John Dorn remarried and lived in Iowa until he passed away. John P Dorn worked for the Railroad many years.
Their Fathers 1968 Des Moines Iowa Obituary sited Vera and many other Children and sited he was going to be buried in New Ulm MN. Both Vera & Annacleta Dorn's Parents were born in Swan Lake Nicollet Co. MN.

Vera and Annacleta Dorn were Sophia's Nieces as they were two of her late Sister
Helen (Lena) Magdelena Epper Dorn's Daughters. They were two of her Mothers

note: Vera Dorn first Married William E Thompson and they were blessed with at least

rest at the Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm MN
New Ulm Review Jan. 1919 sited Mrs John Dorn, formerly Miss Lena Epper of
Swan Lake MN and survived by 6 Children in 1919.
