GEORGE BEGOLE
---George Begole, 76, of La Plata died Sunday, Nov. 11, 1984, at a hospital in Omaha, Neb., where he had been a patient since Nov. 5.
---He was born Jan. 29, 1908, in La Plata the son of William A. and Mary Ann "Molly" Smith Begole. He was raised and farmed most of his life on a farm four miles northeast of La Plata.
---On Sept. 24, 1933, he married Alice Ralston. Mr. Begole and his wife moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in August because of his failing health.
---He attended school at Love Valley and graduated from La Plata High School. He was a member of the La Plata State Bank board for 35 years and was a member of the Christian Church.
---Surviving are his wife, Alice, two daughters, Beverly Ann Agee of Council Bluffs, and Donna Dea File of Woodstock, Ill.; four grand-daughters, Bobbie Lile Davis, Brenda Lile Holland, Bonni Lile and Michele Agee; one great-grandson, Charlie Davis.
---He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Mark Agee, who was killed in a train accident on April 13, 1984.
---His body was taken to the Cutler Funeral Home in Council Bluffs for immediate cremation. Memorial services are pending. The family has suggested memorials be given to the American Cancer Society, which may be sent to the funeral home at 533 Willow, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501.
