MARY ANN BEGOLE
---Mary Ann Smith Begole, seventy-four, died Tuesday morning, May 20, 1947 at the Still Convalescent Home in Kirksville, Missouri. She had been in failing health the past several years and seriously ill the past week.
---Mrs. Begole was the daughter of George and Eliza Quinlin Smith who were natives of Ireland and was born June 3, 1872.
---She was married to William Augustus Begole in 1905 and one son was born to this union. Mr. Begole died August 26, 1943.
---She is survived by the son, George Begole; two granddaughters, Beverly and Donna Begole, all of La Plata; three nieces and two nephews. Her father, mother, three brothers, Jack, Daniel and James Smith, have preceded her in death.
---Mrs. Begole was christened into the Roman Catholic Church in infancy.
---Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the La Plata Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Gregory Poole and burial in the La Plata cemetery.
