It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of a beautiful human being; Sam Abu Alassal. Born on June 28, 2004 to his loving parents Diana Ghandour and Rami Abu Alassal
Brother to Asad Assal, Matthew, James, Maria Kayal and Dominck White. Stepson to Deborah White. Loved by so, so many more.
Sam had a bright light within him and a smile that lit up his eyes. You could not be near him without feeling the beautiful energy he radiated. Anyone who knew him can easily attest to this.
His love and energy was not only shared with his family but with good friends and thankfully, in his short time with us, a first romantic love. But his first love of any sort was basketball! Sam loved anything and everything basketball and on this, he could talk for hours. He also put a lot of energy into making music, taking photos, nature, gaming and action figures.
Sam's light burnt out Thursday, January 19, 2023 and many are feeling the darkness. In this darkness we carry him in our hearts and as such, he lives on.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
