Carolyn Ann Jones, passed away, Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Focused Care in Clarksville. She was born September 15, 1944, in Red River County to Albert Milton and Johnnie Griffin Raulston. She is preceded in death by her parents; and 5 brothers Kenneth, Albert Milton, Morris, Jack and Melvin.
Carolyn worked 43 years at Red River General Hospital which later became East Texas Medical Center- Clarksville. She loved her work and the so many friends she made along the way. She had a work ethic like no other and anyone that knew her knew her love for that hospital.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, just 1 day shy of being 62 years Paul Wayne Jones; her daughter Johna (Buddy) Williams and granddaughter Ryann. Ryann was her greatest joy and she was quick to let everyone know just how proud she was of her. She is also survived by in laws, Bonnie Sue(Tom) Green, Gerald (Carol) Yarbrough and Ronnie Joe Yarbrough, as well as many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a very special niece and her son, Donna and Jason Dotson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday November 27, 2023, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. John Timothy Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Steve Raulston, Jason Dotson, Brandon Rauslton, Matt Raulston, Morris Raulston, Paul Raulston and Keith Raulston.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Men of the Clarksville Country Club.
