Adelina Salerno 81 of Manchester died Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Castelfranci, Italy, she resided in Cliffside Park for 35 years before moving to Manchester in 2003.
She was a talented seamstress and worked for 20 years for the designer Evan Piccone in North Bergen before retiring in 1981. She was an awesome cook and avid gardener. She was a loving wife, very caring and full of life.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Pasquale, son, Michele of Altamont, NY, daughter Rosanna Moscogiuri and husband Anthony of Toms River, 3 grandchildren, Brian, Joseph and Lauren and 3 great grandchildren, Nicco, Antonio and Mai Elizabeth.
Visitation is Sunday 1-5 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester.
Funeral Liturgy is Monday 10 AM at St John's Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at St Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
