Mrs. Meyer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. During her spare time she enjoyed the company of her daughters and grandchildren. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. The Lord will welcome her, saying "Well done my good and faithful servant." She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Nellie Keng Eichler, and brothers Clarence and Albert, Jr. Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband Harry; daughters Marilyn Scott, and husband, Mike, and grandsons, Andrew and Kevin, of New Braunfels; daughter Patricia Schneider, and husband, Chris, and granddaughters, Kristen and Laura, of Lockhart; brothers: Clifford, of Shreveport, La., and Elwood, of Houston; sisters: Eleanor Stockwell, of Anderson, S.C, and Dorrace Williams, of Big Springs.
Visitation with family members was scheduled on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 6 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Robert Becker officiating. Interment followed at Lockhart City Cemetery in Lockhart. Memorial contributions may be made to Reading is Fundamental of Lockhart in memory of Mrs. Meyer, at RIF of Lockhart, PO Box 495, Lockhart, Texas 78644.
