Elaine McEntire Alexander, 98, a life-long Ogden resident, passed away peacefully at her home on December 14, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Artell; her husband, Ernie Alexander; and by her sister, Della Russell and her brother, Lowell McEntire. She was married for 20 years to Wilford Jensen, and he also preceded her in death.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Lana Wall; nieces and nephews, Roxanne, Michelle, Mike, and Kim; and by her beloved cats, Duce, Dainty, and Yellow.
Elaine was famous for rescuing cats. A world traveler, and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elaine lived a righteous and interesting life and was always the life of the party. She is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her best.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1825 Monroe Blvd., Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary.
