On Thursday December 14th, our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Angela Avena, passed away at the age of 83. Angela fiercely loved her family, and drew strength from the love and support that her husband, children, and grandchildren gave to her. Her family was served by her steadfast care and warm compassion.
Angela is survived by her husband Carmine, her children Joseph, Clara, and Sandra, their spouses Maria, Carmine, and Tony, her grandchildren Cristina, Carmine, AJ, Peter, and Matthew, her brother Vincenzo, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Almina, her father, Gerardo, and her six brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Heart Association.
