She was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Berwick, La., to Nick and Mary Gagliano DePrima.
Surviving are two sisters, Josephine Hughes and Frances Tolle, both of Galesburg, and one brother, Nick DePrima of Farmers Branch, Texas.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
She attended St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Peoria. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Mary College in Leavenworth, Kan., and her master's degree from Xavier College in Chicago.
She worked at Veterans Administration hospitals in Peoria, St. Louis, Iowa City, Iowa, and Danville.
She was former president of the American Business Women's Association in Peoria.
Cremation has been accorded.
