Lizbeth Medina, 16, of Grand Island, NE passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her home in Edna, TX.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at All Faiths Funeral Home. The rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Cathedral on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Celebrant will be Fr. Jorge Canela. Burial will follow at Grand Island City Cemetery.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements, memorials may be designated to the family.
Liz was born on March 28, 2007 in Grand Island, daughter of Jose de Jesus Íñiguez and Jacqueline Medina. Although she was an only child, Liz grew up surrounded by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She received her early education in Grand Island before moving with her mother to Edna, TX in the recent years. She attended Edna High School and was a member of the cheerleading squad.
Her memory is cherished by her mother, Jacqueline of Grand Island, NE; father, Jose de Jesus Íñiguez; grandparents, Yesenia and Refugio Medina; uncles and aunts; numerous cousins, classmates and friends.
