Father Terrance "Terry" Adams, 83, a member of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis, Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus for 63 years, died on January 9, 2024, at Saint Francis Friary at Mount Assisi in Loretto, PA.

Fr. Terry was born on April 6, 1940, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the eldest son of the late Cletus and Helen (Koehle) Adams. He is survived by his brothers John and Joseph, his sister Kathy Strunk, in-laws as well as nieces and nephews, and his Franciscan Community.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Saint Francis Friary at Mount Assisi in Loretto, PA from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Vigil Prayer Service will follow at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. Francis Friary at Mount Assisi with the Very Rev. Joseph Lehman, T.O.R., Minister Provincial as principal celebrant. Following the Mass, interment will take place at the Franciscan Friars' Cemetery on the campus of Saint Francis University, Loretto.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings for the Friar's Retirement Fund can be made payable to: Franciscan Friars TOR, P.O. Box 500, Loretto, PA 15940.
